A Centre Grad Continues to Experience Extraordinary Success

Molly Lindle ’09, a Ph.D student at Georgia Institute of Technology’s school of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, recently visited Mount St. Helens. Here, she sits in a gully on the pumice plains, directly on top of the debris deposits from the 1980 eruption. "The dust you can see rising from the volcano is from almost constant rock falls that take place on the summit, indicating that the volcano is still at least somewhat active," she says.
