Researchers in paradise

Will Jenkins '10 and Whitney Sears '10 are conducting marine biology research on fish parasites on Guana Island in the British Virgin Islands. Guana Island is a private island resort that hosts marine biologists during August for free, allowing them to do research in a pristine location. This picture was taken during a rare break in their busy schedules and is a panoramic shot of the bay where they do the majority of their research. Will and Whitney are among the hardest working researchers in paradise, regularly getting up before dawn to dive for samples and returning to the water after sunset to do the same.
