While studying abroad in Merida, Mexico, students had the chance to see a “corrida de toros,” or bullfight, at the downtown Plaza de Toros. The students were in agreement that while they appreciated the cultural experience of seeing a bullfight in Mexico, most would not attend another because they did not enjoy watching the actual killing of the bull.
