Photo of the Week
Photo submissions. To submit a photo for consideration on this page, e-mail Leigh Ivey at leigh.ivey@centre.edu with “POW” as the subject, or send a photograph through campus mail to her attention. Be sure to identify the people, location, and event. Any photos relating to the Centre experience, whether taken on campus or off campus, may be submitted. And remember, the more dynamic and original the shot, the better. If you’re sending a digital photo, be sure to send the picture at the highest resolution possible.
Video submissions. To submit a video for consideration on this page, send a CD with your video in Quicktime format to Leigh Ivey through campus mail. The video must be between 30 and 60 seconds at the highest resolution possible, and can either be raw footage or edited. Remember, the more dynamic and interesting the clip, the better.
Note: photos and videos submitted may be used elsewhere on the College’s Web site, in publications, or in other Centre communications.
Centre—and the USA—in Paris
- While studying abroad with Centre’s Early Summer Strasbourg program, students Alisen Huff ’11, Shelby Hilliard ’12, Lindsey Beaven ’12, Dallas Selvy ’12, James Melloan ’12, Jeff Mullaney ’12, Alex Lloyd ’11 and Zeric Mason ’12 display their patriotism during the USA vs. England World Cup match. “The energy of 10,000 exuberant futbol fans watching a giant screen paired with the sublime backdrop of the Eiffel Tower could not have been more picturesque,” Huff says.
