Psycho Setting
- Nick Gowen '11 takes cover in front of a church featured in the Alfred Hitchcock classic, The Birds. Gowen and his father were driving the Pacific Coast Highway on vacation when they came across the set piece at UC Berkeley. For Gowen, Hitchcock films played an important role in his Centre education. "For CentreTerm my junior year, I took a class on The Psychology of Alfred Hitchock with Dean Mary Gulley," he says. "It was one of my favorite courses at Centre and fueled my career goals of working in film."

Photo submissions. To submit a photo for consideration on this page, e-mail Elizabeth Trollinger at elizabeth.trollinger@centre.edu with "POW" as the subject, or send a photograph through campus mail to her attention. Be sure to identify the people, location, and event. Any photos relating to the Centre experience, whether taken on campus or off campus, may be submitted. And remember, the more dynamic and original the shot, the better. If you’re sending a digital photo, be sure to send the picture at the highest resolution possible.
Video submissions. To submit a video for consideration on this page, send a CD with your video in Quicktime format to Elizabeth Trollinger through campus mail. The video must be between 30 and 60 seconds at the highest resolution possible, and can either be raw footage or edited. Remember, the more dynamic and interesting the clip, the better.
Note: photos and videos submitted may be used elsewhere on the College’s website, in publications, or in other Centre communications.
