Au Revoir, Arles

Bonjour from France! Students studying abroad in France during CentreTerm spell out the name of their alma mater in front of the Roman arena in Arles, France. The students, in France with Dr. Jeff Fieberg’s class on “Molecular Modernism,” visited Arles for its significance as the site of Van Gogh’s “Studio of the South.” “This course brought science and art history together by going through the work of Manet to Matisse,” says Emily Meador ’13. From left: Katie Holbrook ’13, Caroline Anderegg ’15, Evyn White ’13, Kathryn Hayes ’14, Markie Dohrenwend ’13, Jenna Trost ’15, Emily Landherr ’13, Anne Mitchell ’15, Meador, Tayllor Vetter ’13 and Rachel Muessel ’14.
