A Calculated Championship

Once again, the math program has been crowned as the champion. Recently, Centre math professors played a dodgeball exhibition game against members of the the environmental studies program. “Of course, the math faculty won,” says Lesley Wiglesworth, assistant professor of mathematics. “We can add this Golden Dodgeball to our trophy case, which also contains a Golden Mallet (for defeating the chemistry program in croquet) and a Golden Corn Hole Bag (for defeating the government program in corn hole).” The dodgeball event, sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon, raised over $1,100 for the Children’s Miracle Network and the Ronald McDonald house.
