Dr. Wyatt awarded a Fulbright

Dr. Clarence Wyatt, Claude D. Pottinger Professor of History (and chief planning officer at Centre), has been awarded a Fulbright to teach American Studies for six months at Hanoi University in Vietnam. During his time at Centre, Dr. Wyatt has made nearly 20 trips to Vietnam and Southeast Asia, many of them with Centre students and alumni. He’s the author of Paper Soldiers: The American Press and the Vietnam War, an acclaimed book about U.S. press coverage of the war in Vietnam, and co-editor of the recently published Encyclopedia of Media and Propaganda in Wartime America.
