places in China. We're very fortunate to have these opportunities to travel around China. Julie and I are hoping to plan some more trips around China as our finances allow. China truly is a beautiful and extremely diverse country with a very long history. Next weekend we will be able to visit one of the oldest cites in China, ZhengZhou, in the Henan province. And we're hoping in the week following to plan a trip to visit Xi’an, the capital of the Shaanxi province and the home of the Terracotta Warriors. In addition, I hope to be able to visit a mountain or two here. China has some stunningly beautiful mountain ranges.

However, as amazing as it is to travel around China, we've had a blast staying right here in Shanghai! Shanghai is huge, and at any given second there are a million things to do and see here. Anytime we have a spare afternoon it's as simple as a trip to the grocery to go out and explore Shanghai. They have a great subway/bus system here. They're a little crowded sometimes, but you can get just about anywhere in the city for fairly little money. When we first arrived in September, one of our first expeditions was to get a metro card that you can put money on and then simply wave and
