Marian Anton joined Centre's faculty in 2009 as visiting assistant professor of mathematics.
Anton is a native of Romania whose research interests include algebraic topology and K-theory with emphasis on arithmetic groups and elliptic curves.
He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from the University of Bucharest, and his Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Notre Dame.
