Cristina Carbone joined Centre's faculty in 2008 as a visiting assistant professor of art history.
Before coming to Centre, Carbone was a visiting assistant professor at Western Kentucky University, University of Louisville, and Westmont College, and a lecturer at Spalding University. Her current research work is on world's fairs.
She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a B.A. in art and architectural history, where she also earned both her M.A. and Ph.D in the same field. She has also studied at the British Institute and Le Sorbonne, both in Paris.
