Keith Dunn is associate professor of chemistry at Centre College. He currently serves as chair of the Division of Science and Mathematics.

He first taught at Centre as a visiting instructor during the 1990-91 school year, then joined the faculty on a full-time basis in 1993. Dunn had held a postdoctoral fellowship and a research assistantship at Indiana University.

Dunn's research focuses on the photoinduced energy transfer between salt substrates and absorbed molecules. He has received grants, including a 1994 Cottrell College Science Award. Dunn spent the spring of 2001 on sabbatical at University College London, England where he studied the formation of H2 on cosmic dust grains and the dissociation dynamics of multi-charged molecular cations.

During the 1997-98 academic year, Dunn served as resident director of Centre's overseas program in London, England.

Dunn holds a B.S. from Erskine College and a Ph.D. from Indiana University.
