| Patricia S. Finch is professor of Spanish at Centre College, where she has taught since 1991.
Finch published (2003) an edition of La Celestina, a XVth century classic work, in the Juan de la Cuesta European Masterpieces series. She has also co-authored "Don Quijote" en el arte y pensamiento de Occidente with John Jay Allen for Catedra Press, Madrid, due out in 2004. This is a tribute for the 400th anniversary of the publication of Don Quijote. Professor Finch has served as Chair of Spanish for 7 years, represented Centre College in the Preparing Future Faculty graduate seminar at the University of Kentucky for 5 years. She has published and presented papers on magic and witchcraft in Spanish medieval and Golden Age literature, La Celestina, and Don Quijote, in the United States as well as in Spain. She taught a graduate course in Machismo in Latin American Novel and Film at Middlebury College in Vermont. She has taught courses in all levels and areas of language, civilization, and literature.
Finch earned B.S. and M.A. degrees at Bowling Green State University, and she holds a Ph.D. from Catholic University of America.
