Jeffrey Janovetz is an assistant professor of biology. Prior to joining Centre’s faculty in 2006, he was an assistant professor at Sweet Briar College.
His scholarly interests include organismal biology and anatomy, and his article “Functional Morphology of Feeding in the Scale-eating Specialist, Catoprion mento,” is in press in the Journal of Experimental Biology.
Janovetz graduated cum laude with a B.S. in biology from the University of Illinois, received a master’s degree from Washington State University, and a master’s and
Ph.D. in organismal biology and anatomy from the University of Chicago.
