Jim Leady joined the faculty in Fall 2003. He has previously taught as an instructor at Washtenaw Community College and as a graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan.

His teaching and research interests include public, labor, and experimental economics and game theory. His research often uses agent-based computational models which seek to explain phenomena from a “bottom-up” approach.

Leady is a major in the U.S. Army Reserve. He serves as an assistant professor of military science and teaches military leadership in the ROTC program here at Centre.

Leady holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He received an M.A. and a graduate certificate (complex systems) from the University of Michigan. He is completing requirements for a doctoral degree from Michigan.
