John Medley joined Centre's faculty in 2009 as visiting instructor of chemistry.
His areas of interest include rational development and synthesis of functional polymers; investigation of kinetics, thermodynamics, and mechanisms o polymer-surface interactions; and self-assembly of molecular monolayers and multilayers.
Medley received a B.A. in chemistry from Transylvania University, a M.S. in organic chemistry from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, a M.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky, where he is also a Ph.D. candidate in chemical engineering.
