Satnam Mendoza Forrest joined Centre's faculty in 2008 as an assistant professor of religion.
Before coming to Centre, Forrest taught Islamic studies at Harvard University, and also taught at the University of Mississippi.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in South Asian studies and comparative religion. She earned her Ph.D. in religion from Harvard University. Forrest is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies.
