About Our Students

Centre students are bright and friendly. They are diverse geographically (representing 40 states and 16 countries) and socio-economically (approximately 60 percent receive need-based financial aid). They did well in high school, with approximately 60 percent of those ranked in the top 10 percent
of their class. According to reports from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), Centre students are actively engaged in their education and routinely discuss readings and ideas from coursework outside
of class. And they love to study abroad. More than 85 percent spend a least one term in another country.
