The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) - Summer Research Scholarship is supported by the College and the National Science Foundation. The Science Research program awards up to four scholarships yearly and targets African American, Asian Pacific Islander, Latino/a and/or Native American students with strong interests in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) for summer research opportunities. Each award guarantees two summers of research beginning the summer before the student enrolls at Centre and provides a stipend valued up to $5,000 along with room and board for the summers of research. After graduation, students will qualify for the Bridge to the Doctorate Program (fellowship stipend plus full graduate tuition and fee support) at most research institutions. Notification: mid-March. Complete and submit by February 1.
