The Language Scholarship (Latin, Hebrew, French, German, Japanese or Spanish) program recognizes students with 4-5 years of advanced, high school study in Latin, Hebrew, French, German, Japanese or Spanish and/or native speakers who are likely to provide leadership in language study on our campus. Applicants compete for Language Scholarships (PDF flyer), valued up to $7,500 per year and awarded by the Language Faculty. Students should have experience in and a commitment to further personal development in language study. Majoring in a language is not required. These awards require a separate application and faculty interview. Language Scholarship application due by February 1. Remember to contact Jamie Prewitt by February 1 to schedule your faculty interview in order to complete your Language Scholarship application.
