Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC)

Centre students may participate in the reserve officers training programs of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force through the University of Kentucky. Most courses are offered on the University of Kentucky campus, and students are responsible for their own transportation.

Centre students are competitive for all available ROTC scholarships offered by the Army or Air Force. Please contact the University of Kentucky officer for program and scholarship requirements. Winners of Army or Air Force ROTC scholarships receive, in addition to their support from the Army or Air Force, scholarships covering room and board for the period of the ROTC scholarship. Students may be eligible for additional scholarships or financial aid.

Army (AMS courses) ROTC and Air Force (AES courses) ROTC students receive academic credit toward their Centre degree.
