I didn't so much mind because if there's anything I learned from my freshman year living in Nevin Hall, it's to retain my focus despite loud, distracting noises. I found it quite entertaining as the sleeping Jay came to the realization that there were these boisterous kids all around. He woke up with a dazed look and quickly grew a little frustrated. It was hilarious.

 

A few stops later, the children disembarked and the trip to Dover became quiet once more.

Dover was a nice little town, but we didn't stay long. We had bigger fish to fry. From the train station, we followed signs that led to the ferries to Calais, France. Things at this point were going more smoothly that we could have imagined. The ferry ride was only 20 pounds round trip, which Jay and I
