Oh Ireland, I hardly knew ye! I just got back from spring break in Ireland (or rather, the long weekend that passes for spring break over here), and it couldn’t have gone by faster. My girlfriend, Morgan, flew over for the trip, and with a couple of companions, we stayed in Dublin for four days. It was great to spend time with these good friends, especially Morgan. Many of the locals were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. This was especially surprising considering the impersonal nature of much of life in London. In London, if I were to say hello to a stranger on the street, he might look at me as if I were crazy. In Dublin, that stranger would probably be happy to have a conversation.
The city itself is beautiful with the River Liffey running through its heart. There're several footbridges that span the river and make for some pretty good photo opportunities as you can see.

One of the many stunning views from the footbridges crossing the River Liffey.
