The buildings around the city center are very interesting
and beautiful. Some date back as far as the 1400s and have been restored to preserve Strasbourg's rich heritage. However, none of the buildings compare to the cathedral.
This monument will take your breath away and towers over all of the other buildings. With construction beginning around 1057 and completion around 1277, the cathedral has survived many wars and bombings.

One day experience we all went to the Parc de l'Orangerie

and played the French game pétanque. It is similar to what we call bocce ball. All of the French people play this game, and it is very popular here.

We're off to a festival this afternoon. I'm sure that I'll have more to say later.
