Last weekend, we all set out to hike the beautiful Vosges Mountains. We caught the train at 7:20 a.m. and rode straight up the mountain peaks. Hiking was definitely an adrenaline rush for the few of us who are scared of heights! There were many moments when we would be standing on the edge of a cliff, looking down 3,000 feet to the bottom of the












mountains. We saw castles tucked into the crevices of the mountains and several small towns making their homes in the sides of the mountains. It was an incredible morning!

Eventually, we made our way to a small tourist town where we rode the gondola up to the mountain peak and took the luge back down. I've noticed that the Europeans are huge daredevils and love the outdoors. Some French people were
