The fries were just as delicious, but beef was nowhere to be found. However, the menu offered India delights like the Chicken Maharajah Mac, McAloo Tikki Burger and Pizza McPuff. There was also a strict delineation between vegetarian and non-veg items and posters assuring patrons that the two were cooked separately.
We arrived at the Taj with about an hour to spare before sunset. I, of course, had super-high expectations

for the most famous site in India, but it still exceeded those. I was most struck by how massive the domes and pillars looked, looming in the distance. In the stock photos I had seen of it, it always seemed completely white, but from up close, the intricate inlay work comes into view and is stunning.
