We left Galway this morning and had a very long coach ride to Kilarney. But getting to see more of the Irish countryside made the trip well worth it.

 




Coming out of Galway our coach driver took us to the Mecca of all Irish literary scholars, Yeats' Tower or Thoor Ballylee. It's awesome to be able to see the places that inspire authors and poets; it makes the literature more real to me. On the same detour John showed us the estate of Yeats' patron Lady Gregory.
