Actors portrayed what it would have been like to be passengers. There was a lady who portrayed a first-class passenger and what she thought were problems and tough conditions. And there was a lady who portrayed a steerage passenger, and she told us about what tough actually was.

The ship had a database of people who had emigrated during the famine, so you could look up ancestors if you wanted to. And before we got on the ship we were given tickets of people who had originally been passengers. You could take your ticket then and find out where the person had stayed on the ship, which was an interesting touch.
