won a national prize, and the guitar player is the son of one of
flamenco’s greats. Though the technicalities of the pieces,
the singing, and the guitar playing were well executed, neither
of the dancers seemed to lose themselves in the performance. It
was somewhat disappointing in comparison with even the modest, impromptu
performance of the instructor the previous evening.
