After a few rounds of UNO and dessert, we parted ways, full of food and Thanksgiving bliss.

Because Thanksgiving is an American holiday, I had class all week. Unfortunately, school work is accumulating as the semester winds down. Because II'm leaving two weeks before the term is over, I have to take my finals early, but my professors are very accommodating.

Lesson Ten: Despite the irony, we can celebrate Thanksgiving in Turkey

In addition to devouring a phenomenal Thanksgiving dinner, we shared our families’ traditions with each other and shared some of the things we're most thankful for this year. It was wonderful to learn more about each other and reminisce about home. We stayed at the apartment for hours because we consumed so much food to the point of being immobile.
