No. 20 Thomas Britt ’08, a dean’s list student from Louisville, displays the hustle that would earn him SCAC Player of the Year, All-South District first team, All-America second team, and All-South Region third team in the Colonels’ final NCAA tournament game against Ohio Wesleyan University played at Centre in March. The basketball Colonels capped a “magical” season by hosting the first two rounds of the Division III tournament.

Changing of the Guard
After more than two decades as Centre board chair, J. David Grissom ’60 turned over his gavel to Bob Brockman ’63 in January, while Randy Kell ’69 stepped up to vice chair, a role filled for many years by Nelson D. Rodes Jr. ’54. Though the leadership is changing, the board’s remarkable engagement with the work of the College remains.
