Jones wins national championship in triple jump
Centre College sophomore Chrys Jones (Harrodsburg, Ky.) became the 19th Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference student-athlete to win an individual national title by winning the triple jump with a new Don Drumm Stadium record 50 feet, 3 1/4 inches at the 2009 NCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.
