Academics always come first. The primary reason for being at Centre College is to earn a degree.
DON'T EMBARRASS YOURSELF, THE PROGRAM, YOUR FAMILY, OR THE COLLEGE!
Team first. We will play for the name on the front of the jersey and not the one on the back. We will be a family, looking out for  one another and helping each other in times of need. We are in this together and will always be there for each other. We will hold the rope for each other.
Two of the most important ingredients in life and baseball are hard work and loyalty.
We will never allow "good enough" to be good enough. We will constantly strive to raise the bar regardless of how high it is. We will never be satisfied.
HIS chances of becoming the best he possibly can be on the baseball field.
1. HUSTLE - Get from point A to point B as quick as possible.
2. INTENSITY - Like a coat of paint, it covers up alot of crap.
3. SPORTMANSHIP - Coaches coach, players play, umpires umpire
5-P Principle. Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance.
Control things we can control. We will worry only about things within our control and not waste time on those things outside our control.
We will pay attention to detail. Take care of the little things, and the big things will take care of themselves.
Handle adversity. We will not only be physically tough, but also mentally tough. You can tell a lot about a person or team by the way they handle adversity.
We will COMPETE hard, smart and together  at all times. Winning is important and we will always PLAY TO WIN. We will expect to win and refuse to lose.
Never say die. We will play with a lot of heart and never ever quit regardless of the situation or score.
Strive for consistency. Play every pitch or every inning of every game.
We will never get too high nor too low. We will stay level headed regardless of how good or how bad things get.
WE WILL TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN EVERYTHING WE DO
AND STRIVE TO OUTWORK EVERYONE ELSE
