Noll named SCAC Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week
Centre College men's basketball junior forward Danny Noll (Ft. Mitchell, Ky.) has been named SCAC Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 26 through Sunday, February 1.
Noll is the first Colonel to be named Player-of-the-Week during the season. This past weekend in two SCAC games, Noll averaged 28.5 points per game and 6 rebounds per game as the Colonels went 1-1. He shot a blistering 19-28 from the field (67.8 percent) and connected on 12 of his 19 three-point shots.
In the win over Southwestern, Noll scored a game-high 28 points and tallied seven rebounds while shooting 9-of-13 from the floor and made 7-of-9 from beyond the arc. In a two-point loss against No. 8 Trinity, he scored a game-high 29 points and grabbed five rebounds. He connected on 10-of-15 from the floor, including 5-of-8 from three-point range.
Noll looks to continue his strong play as the Colonels travel to Rhodes and Birmingham Southern this upcoming weekend for a pair of SCAC games.
