Noll named to the D3hoops.com preseason All-American team
Centre senior Danny Noll (Ft. Mitchell, Ky.) was selected to the 2009-10 D3hoops.com preseason All-American team. Noll was named as an honorable-mention preseason All-American.
Last season Noll helped lead Centre to an overall record of 23-5 and a 12-2 mark in the SCAC. Noll also helped lead the Colonels to their third straight SCAC regular season title and their second SCAC Tournament Championship in three years. He was named All-SCAC First Team.
During the 2008-09 season Noll averaged 16.0 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. Noll was ranked fourth in the conference for his 16.0 points per game and fifth in the league in field goal percentage at 51.5%. He also led the SCAC in 3-point field goal percentage at 43.7%.
Centre will open its 2009-2010 season Wednesday, Nov. 18 against Maryville College. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Gym in Danville, Ky.
