Centre places 52 on SCAC Academic Honor Roll
SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2007 fall term and a record 715 student-athletes made the list. Cross country earns All-Academic team honors for the 2007 season.
To qualify a team must average a cumulative 3.10 gpa through the fall semester. The Centre College men easily earned the distinction by combining for a team cumulative 3.34 gpa. Individually, senior Nate Blank and sophomore Jason Parks received All-Academic individual honors for the 2007 cross country season. Blank was 14 in the region out of 170 men and has a 3.89 cumulative gpa, while Parks finished 31 in the region out of 170 men and has a 3.67 cumulative gpa. To qualify an individual must have a minimum cumulative gpa of 3.5 and finish in the top 25% of their regional meet.
Cross country teams end season at NCAA Regionals
The Centre College men's and women's cross country teams ended their 2007 season at the 2007 NCAA Division III Cross Country South/Southeast Regional Championships with the men's team placing seventh and the women's team 12th, Saturday, Nov. 10 in Newport News, Va. More
