Centre places 52 on SCAC Academic Honor Roll
SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2007 fall term and a record 715 student-athletes made the list. Cross country earns All-Academic team honors for the 2007 season
To qualify a team must average a cumulative 3.10 gpa through the fall semester.  The Centre College men easily earned the distinction by combining for a team cumulative 3.34 gpa. Individually, senior Nate Blank and sophomore Jason Parks received All-Academic individual honors for the 2007 cross country season.    Blank was 14 in the region out of 170 men and has a 3.89 cumulative gpa, while Parks finished 31 in the region out of 170 men and has a 3.67 cumulative gpa. To qualify an individual must have a minimum cumulative gpa of 3.5 and finish in the top 25% of their regional meet.

Centre men finish 5th, women 8th in cross country
The Centre College men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2007 season by participating in the Sewanee-University of the South Invitational, Saturday, Sept. 1, in Sewanee, Tenn. The men's team placed fifth, while the women came in eighth. More
