Danville, Ky. - The Centre field hockey team recently announced that it plans to raise money for Alex's Lemonade Stand as this season's philanthropy recipient. Last year, the Centre College field hockey team raised over $2,000 for The Invisible Children, a charity that assists the suffering children caught in the midst of civil war in Uganda. Because of the success of last year's efforts, the field hockey team has decided to adopt another charity this season, Alex's Lemonade Stand.
