The Centre College field hockey team enjoyed a weekend off after a tough loss at Sewanee last Friday, Oct. 7. The loss was only the Colonels's third of the season and the second in SCAC play. Centre still leads the SCAC though and is ranked among the top teams in the Great Lakes Region of NCAA Division III with two regular season games remaining.

This week, the team is refocusing its efforts on conditioning and training. With a tough set of recent games and mid-terms, training sessions have been light over the past few weeks to keep everyone fresh. But this week the intensity will get back to normal as the Colonels rededicate themselves for the final push heading into the post-season.

Centre will next play at Transylvania University on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7:00pm and will finish regular season play at DePauw University on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Noon.
