Clodius earns SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Week
Senior Mary Kate Clodius (St. Louis, Mo.) received the SCAC Field Hockey Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, Oct. 19 through Sunday, Oct. 25.
The Colonels traveled to Louisville, Ky. on Thursday, Oct. 22 to take on Bellarmine University. Centre would beat the Knights 4-3 with help from Clodius who would score the Colonels final three goals. The Colonels swept the Division II rival in both matches this season.
Centre would then take on regional foe, Transylvania University, on Saturday, Oct. 24 in Danville, Ky. at Farris Stadium. Clodius was a benefit for the Colonels again, as she would score two goals and record an assist in the 6-1 win over the Pioneers.
The senior leads the SCAC with 12 goals and is tied for the SCAC lead in points with 25.
Centre's next match will take place against Rhodes College on Friday, Oct. 30 in Danville, Ky. The match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be part of Centre's homecoming festivities. |
