Sophomore Jonathan Pinque (Athens, Ala.) receives the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Co-Offensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, Sept. 26 after rushing for a career-high 181 yards on 22 carries in a 34-27 win over Austin College.

Pinque, a 5'11", 190 pounds running back also had a career-high three touchdowns as the Colonels remained undefeated at 4-0 and improved their SCAC record to 2-0.

Pinque's first touchdown came in the second quarter on a five-yard run to make the score 20-13, which was the start of the Colonels come back after Austin scored two straight touchdowns. Centre's next touchdown would come in the third quarter on a one-yard run from Pinque to tie Austin, 20-20. Pinque had rushed for 17 yards on the previous three plays. Pinque's final touchdown, came on a 15-yard run, in the fourth quarter, where he broke several tackles before reaching the end zone to give Centre the 34-27 advantage.

Centre's next match will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 against conference opponent Sewanee. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Farris Stadium in Danville, Ky.
