Centre Golf wins Old Bridge Invitational
DANVILLE, KY - Freshman Mike Janok fired a season low 70 to pace Centre College Colonels to a team low score of 293 and the championship of the Old Bridge Invitational.
The Colonels finished 17 shots ahead of second place Thomas More who finished with a score of 310. This is the second championship in five days as Centre captured the Thomas More Classic on Tuesday April 17.
Other scores for Centre were Chris Conkright with a 73 and Derek Tingle, Tyler Current and Alex Zimmerman who all shot 74. Tyler Griffith shot a 75 while Rus Whalen ended wit a 78.
Centre now moves into the SCAC Championships as the 3rd seed. The Championship will be played at White Wing Golf Course in Georgetown, Texas on April 28 and 29.
