Men's golf wins tournament with ease
CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY. - The Men's Team ran away with the Championship trophy and three All- Tournament selections by posting a two day total of 616 at the Thomas More Classic in Crestview Hills. 
The Colonels finished 62 strokes ahead of second place Thomas More College and were led by Co-captain Rus Whalen who posted a first round best of 72 and two day total of 149 on his way to tournament medallist. Also, on the All-Tournament Team were Co-captain Derek Tingle, who shot a 151, and Tyler Current, who finished with a 152.
The women also won their tournament held in Memphis Tenn. April 16-17 at the
Windyke Golf Course.
This is the first time in Centre's Golf history that both the Men's and Women's Teams both won their respective tournaments on the same day (complete women's story).
The Men's Team play host to the Old Bridge Invitation on Saturday April 21 and then travel to Georgetown, Tx for the SCAC Championships April 28 and 29.
