Both teams beat some very good teams and players to come out on top. On the men's side this was done without Co-Captain Chris Conkright who was at a family obligation and the women did not have two top players Emily Bachert (stress fracture) and Paige Burton (studying off campus) which makes this even more gratifying."
The Centre men's golf team will next play an exhibition match against Transylvania on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Danville Country Club in Danville, Ky. The women's team will play at the Pat Clouse Invitational hosted by Wittenberg University on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10-11 in Springfield, Ohio.
