Women golfers head into Conference ranked 32 in Division III
Depauw University will host the tournament at Twin Bridges Golf Club in Danville, IN on April 25-27. The team champion will receive an automatic qualification into the NCAA Championships.
The team just returned from competing in the Rhodes Invitation, which featured six Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) schools. The team came from nine strokes down on the last day to force a sudden death playoff (which they won on the first hole) and win the tournament.
Centre's team is led in scoring by senior captain Melanie Goff (87.5 avg.), followed by sophomore Katie McKenna (90.1 avg.).
Besides Centre's number 32 ranking in NCAA Division III several other schools, listed below, in the Southern College Athletic Conference are nationally ranked as well.
