Women's golf finishes seventh at The Pat Clouse Invitational
The Centre women's golf team took seventh place at The Pat Clouse Invitational, which was hosted by Wittenberg University, on Sunday, Oct. 11 in Springfield, Ohio. The Pat Clouse Invitational was played at Windy Knoll Golf Club.
Senior Katie McKenna (Mt. Sterling, Ky.) led the Colonels with an 18th place finish. Mckenna scored a 167 over the two day event.
Freshman Whitney Miller (Lexington, Ky.) tied for 24th place with a 172 and freshman Lauren Mashburn (Madisonville, Ky.) came in tied for 31st scoring a 175. Freshman Bridget Winstead (Franklin, Tenn.) scored a 188 and tied for 53rd place. Senior Sarah Fisher (Vine Grove, Ky.) placed 73rd with a score of 205.
Nikki Kulasa from Walsh University won the two day event with a score of 155.
Centre finished with an overall score of 702. The University of Findlay won The Pat Clouse Invitational scoring a 644. Walsh University came in second place with a 646 and DePauw University rounded out the top three with a 662.
The Centre women's golf team finishes their fall schedule at the Rhodes Fall Classic on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19-20 at Tunica National Golf Course in Tunica, Miss. |
