Season Review
The 2008-09 season was a breakthrough season for the women's golf team who were continually ranked in the Top 20 of Division III golf and sported one of the best players in the division. The Colones competed against some of the best teams in the south and proved they were a team who could challenge for the top positions.
Freshman Emily Bachert had an amazing first year winning four events and being consistantly ranked #1 in Golfstats for the lowest stroke average in Division III. Emily was named NCAA Freshman of the Year for her play as well as finishing 4th in the NCAA Championships which placed her on the All-American first team. She was also first team All-Region and first team All-SCAC.
