Cheerleading Tryouts

Cheerleading tryouts will be posted. To qualify for the squad, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• Maintain a 2.5 GPA
• Be a fulltime student at Centre
• Attend two of the three cheerleading clinics held by current cheerleaders.

Judges evaluate the applicants in the following areas:
• One cheer
• One sideline cheer
• A dance

In addition, candidates must perform:

Three jumps:
• Toe touch
• Herkie
• Candidate’s choice

Gymnastics:
• Back handspring
• Roundoff back handspring
• Candidate’s choice
