Beautiful day sets the tone for Alumni Weekend
DANVILLE, KY. - On Saturday, April 21 the Centre College men's and women's soccer teams hosted the 6th Annual Alumni Weekend. The cold weather that has plagued Danville this spring gave way to a gorgeous, sunny day for the alumni games.
The women kicked off at 3:00 and the varsity won 3-1. The men kicked off at 5:00 with the varsity winning 3-1 as well. A large crowd of students and parents made it to the games. The Alumni Association hosted a cook-out on the Friends of Centre Soccer Patio area. After the games, Coach Burch and Coach Hoffman co-hosted a social for the alumni.
The Alumni weekend has grown into a very popular event with representatives of the Class of 1992 making it back this year. Over all, this year marked the most alumni to return to campus since the inception of the weekend.
