Sophomore Year (2006): Started and played sweeper in all 17 games of the season logging 1440 minutes...Helped lead the Colonols to 7 shutouts, a 0.88 goals against average, and the number one rated defense in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC)...Had one assist against Wittenberg and recorded thirteen shots...Named a member of the 3rd Team All-South Central Region and a member of the All-SCAC Academic Team.
Freshmen Year (2005): Played in all 18 games of the season starting in 8 and recording 959 minutes at center midfield and sweeper…Recorded 4 assists on the season and was instrumental in recording 8 shutouts and a .70 goals against average in the number one rated defense in the SCAC…Was named a member of the All-SCAC Academic Team.
High School: Was team captain of the Javanon USYSA U-19 National Championship team in 2006 and Region II Champions in 2003…Captained DuPont Manual High School his senior year when he was a member of the 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-Region, 1st Team All-State and the All State Tournament Team.
Personal: Son of Spencer Boyer and Debra Boyer…Double Major is Psychology and History…Chose Centre because, “Of its combined excellence in both athletics and academics. The Men's soccer program at Centre had a strong winning reputation and a coaching staff that I knew I would enjoy playing for and a team that I knew I would enjoy being a part of every day for four years.
