On the first day of the 17th Annual Bob Allen Nissan Classic, the Centre College men's soccer team won a hard fought match 1-0 over the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Saturday, Sept. 9, in Danville, Ky.
With the win, the Colonels improve to 2-0 on the season, while Wisconsin-Whitewater falls to 2-2 on the year. The win marks the 16th win for Centre in the Classic in its last 17 matches.
